Major Recent Transits:
Saturn - Jupiter Square: This aspect perfected on June 15 with Jupiter having entered Cancer June 9; Saturn into Aries on May 24th. Look to your Cancer house for the recent blooming of expansion opportunities. Look to your Aries house for the recent restriction of structural initiations. Jupiter has already gotten pretty far from its Square to Saturn, but the aspect is still in play during this two week period. Then there is still the ongoing tension between the expansion and limitation of these respective areas of our life indicated by our Cancer and Aries houses.
Saturn in Aries proposes structure and discipline as we approach our impulses and competitive spirit. The sense that our overall life should encourage us to only be in competition with ourselves and our instincts naturally urge toward good long-term decisive making. This is to say Saturn operates poorly in Aries because a fiery impulsive sign is trying to support the planet of karmic-duty and responsibility. Saturn in the sign of the Warrior is like a samurai which practices discipline on a spiritual, emotional, and physical level so that a duty towards higher consciousness guides the samurai in those life or death key moments of battle.
Jupiter in Cancer urges growth and experience through a medium of emotional shedding a familial connection. What can we learn from our family, closer friendships, ancestors, and the private spaces we spend lots of time within. Abundance and education with the divine feminine. Seeking those “crone” figures or elders in your tribe for wisdom. Conversely, what knowledge can the children offer us? Those who just got here and resemble that of a freshly molted crab with delicate skin.
Aries is a sign of selfhood and self-consideration. Cancer is a sign of tribal and inner circle consideration. So the tension here is between having to cultivate lifestyle restrictions in sight of our impulses and urges while opening up expansion opportunities through nourishing emotional connections. Saturn offers enterprising challenges which demand that your emotional energy can be harnessed productively which Jupiter says listen to these feminine figures and spaces for knowledge and growth. There is a tension between some masculine and feminine energy. There is tension to be emotionally open for experience while cultivating self-control.
Uranus Enters Gemini: The Liberator Ouranus entered the constellation of the Twins on July 7. Uranus in Taurus emphasized the collective relationship to materialism and stability of resources. We grew into sustainable practice, but also saw the usual urge by Conservative spheres to de-regulate sustainability practices. So with Uranus in Taurus being the liberation of material resources we can see how that could be interpreted as allowing the unfettered use of resources like oil, or liberating our dependency on them, or liberating the Earth of our abuses.
Uranus moving into Gemini graduates us from material focus to mental focus. We will now spend the next 7 years looking to liberate methods of movement and communication. We can expect this to be for better and for worse. Destruction and re-invention of existing methods of daily travel and communication can look similar to Uranus in Taurus. Instead of focusing directly on what kind of energy we are using, it’s the kind of machine or process we are using. We turn attention from the power source to the methods of movement. We could see power grid failures, innovation in communication, the continued liberation and re-invention of speech. We will awaken the collective consciousness to the nature of reality. Gemini is a sign of messaging, and this liberation will bring awareness to more spiritual forms. We could even see a literal uptick in twin births.
More importantly this starts the Uranus return of the United States and from 2025-2033. There are 3 exact returns within one Uranus Retrograde with this Uranus return. July 26, 2027; Nov 5 2027; May 11, 2028. These periods coincided with the Revolutionary War (1774-1782), Civil War (1858-1866), and WWII (1941-1949). Those years are the Uranus in Gemini years not the period of the respective event. Gemini is a liberation of movement and communication. Ideas will stir, the downtrodden will be delivered the air to fan the flames of their withheld ideas. Themes of Gemini do include impartiality, and there will be the recurring sense that it’s hard to know who’s side who is on.
Saturn stations Retrograde: Saturn Stationed Retrograde on July 13, 2025 @ 1˚ of Aries. Efforts toward structure in our lives going into the reconsideration and reflection phase. What kind of restriction/structuring and slow building has gotten over the last 8 months? What course changes might we make? This does include Saturn moving back into Pisces briefly. Any of the recent Saturn in Aries energetic impacts will steady from September 2, 2025 - February 13th, 2026.
Major Bi-Weekly Transits:
Mercury Stations Retrograde: Another one. From July 18 12:45 AM @ 15˚ Leo until August 11 @ 4˚ of Leo. Making a more distinct note of this retrograde for any placements between 4-15˚ of the fixed signs. [Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio]. Auto-pilot is disengaged and we must become more present in our daily habitual life. Lest we make mistakes that shock us into this reconsidering awareness. In Leo, our routines and mental patterns are reoriented on the basis of our inner-child and hero archetype. Our playful and professional expressions and desire to leave a creative impact on the world. These values adjust how daily rituals will look and what logical basis we conduct within those daily patterns. Expect this to begin with a message from a partner or a stylistic shift. Wardrobe malfunction or outfit inspiration. Misspeaking or a small change in perspective. We will conduct this retrograde while the Sun moves into Leo, so we will begin conducting this shift in more protective space, and graduate into more confidence.
Venus - Mercury Sextile: This aspect perfects the morning of July 18. So there is communicative support to this week to articulate your creative inspirations. Given the retrograde there may be mishaps, but a chance to be offered grace.
Mars - South Node Conjunction: On July 20 Mars will cross-over the South Node. We are cut-off from our cutting tool. We will feel a reduction in libido. We will be able to approach things more peacefully, or feel disinterested from any conflict. We may let go of, lose, or find clarity on something in the realms of equipment, sexuality, self-assertion, or identity. Look to your Mars and Scorpio houses for what areas of life are implicated.
Venus - Mars Square: This aspect perfects before sunrise on July 23. Tension between dissonance and consonance. Love and War. Action versus diplomacy or planning. Venus in Gemini urges communication with harmonization where Mars in Virgo urges action with criticism.
With Mercury as the ruler of Gemini and Virgo there are some stronger implications of change and resulting tension. A recent change of process has really changed the face of something— its creative signature. What results is a tension between the understanding of what ease has been gained in this new process with what was lost as a result of it.
Sun Enters Leo; Leo Season begins: July 22 we begin peak summer. The Sun returns to its domicile where it functions the most naturally. We will find our natural expressive selfhood more empowered. The mental visions are more clear. The confidence to leave our creative mark more readily available. That peak summer energy to enjoy life and call attention to our ideas or impulses.
Saturn - Sun Trine: This flowing aspect peaks early on July 24. We expect some stern and sharp support from our key structural superiors. There is a good chance to see the reconsideration of long-term decisions impact our creative visions for the better. So from July 23rd into the beginning of August Saturn will gracefully keep responsibility in our minds during this creative energy boost.
New Moon in Leo: This New Moon peaks on July 24th, at 3:11 PM EST; 2˚ of Leo. Any placements between 0-14˚ of the signs Aquarius, Leo, Scorpio, Taurus will be more strongly implicated in the energies of this lunation. Realistically placements in the late Cardinal signs [Cancer, Aries, Capricorn, Libra], from 22˚-29˚ could be implicated, but it will be much harder to perceive.
This New Moon will be a full-bodied intention in authenticity. There is a chance for sudden realizations and reveals to ourselves, of others, or from others, that will change the landscape of our creative lives. This will relate to artistry, romance, and enterprising efforts. As well, we could see similar sudden insights into our leaders and superiors or into those commonly exalted in society.
Sun - Pluto Opposition: We feel (unconsciously or not) this aspect pretty readily as the Sun enters Leo, with the aspect peaking in the AM of July 25th. Leaders coming full on with power moves. Our creative selves requesting we burn away all that keeps us from authenticity. Political and social deals being made successfully in the dark or being exposed. There is a strong sexual and power hungry archetypal experience here so bring awareness to the primal hungers.
Pluto - Uranus Trine: The last time this aspect actually went exact was within the years 1921 and 1922. We will see a series of perfected trines between these two between 2026 and 2028, so we should take note now. In 1921-22 we saw events like the introduction of the Tulsa Massacre, Benito Mussolini and Hitler’s rises to power, and the Harlem Renaissance. Since this coincides with the Uranus return of the United States we can expect it to be more distinct in its effect. The rest of this decade and beyond gears up to be one of the most revolutionary periods of this country’s history.
What is described here is a harmonious connection between Pluto and Uranus in air signs. Pluto in Aquarius wants to burn away anything that restricts or conceals authentic inventiveness while Uranus awakens the logical and communicative frameworks of the individual mind and collective structures. A true “power to the people” moment in history. Ideally I hope to see that everyone comes to terms with the fact that we want the same things and that all of us are constantly having attempts to blind us from the truth and have our real mental autonomy taken by fake information, substance abuse access, and plain distractions. There will be intense transformative events that change our lives forever, and we can only hope this ends up being for the better.
So as this aspect culminates, persist that ideal out there and deliver positivity into the collective manifestations.

Moon in Pisces - July 14-15: Always a vulnerable moment in time. Make time for some solitude and awareness of energetic influence. This Moon will be opposite Mars proposing an interpersonal inflammation.
Moon in Aries - July 16-17: Increased impulsivity and urgency. This Moon can be good for emotionally led decisiveness.
Moon in Taurus - July 18-19: The exaltation of the Moon, these days are good for pleasure-seeking and self-care. The intuition will be stronger and this can help mitigate the Mercury Retrograde if you stay in your body and present.
Moon in Gemini - July 20-22: The first Gemini Moon since Uranus entered the sign, where we will get a novel download. The Moon also joins Venus for some strong sensory.sensual stimuli. These moons are good for channeling chatter. Journaling or moving the body. This Moon will square Mars where some level of inflammation is more possible.
Moon in Cancer - July 22-24: The domicile of the Moon. We may feel emotional weight, clarity, or inspiration more distinctly. You may expect stay-in/rest, conduct a ritual, or some form of private self-care.
Moon in Leo - July 24-26: These Moons are playful and prefer space that supports the child-like creativity. This aligns with the Leo Moon, and Pluto opposition. Sometimes children can be little narcissistic dictators. Sometimes we need to let our inner-child lead. Depends on who you are.
Moon in Virgo - July 26-29: These Moons build up some nervous energy and are best met with the initial use of that energy. So I encourage starting the day with something like journaling, exercising, doing mundane tasks, or simply setting the intention to channel this nervous energy. This Moon will be co-present with Mars in Virgo, and we might feel some inflammation come from “inside the house.”
I find the transits during these weeks will make a very natural procession of events. Not necessarily easy as that relates to your natal chart.
We come into this period with a Mercury retrograde that sets the basis for these aspects with Venus and Mars in the signs ruled by Mercury. Really take note on where this retrograde comes up for you as the mental and manual disruption will be followed with an energetic conflict.
The Sun’s movement will stir some events and feelings around who’s in charge. This, on multiple levels. What part of yourself are you letting lead your decision-making around? What leadership decisions are impacting you? Where is your confidence and child-like connection within your daily life?
The Mars-South conjunction can be looked at like a castration, but is this necessary? As well, keeping in mind we will be given the chance to redirect some of our energy.
So funneling this back into Saturn, as all things should, the instinctual self will ideally be cultivated to naturally channel into basic goodness. Supporting our best selves, being good to others, and our bodies. This personal restriction being accepted can better allow us to get the most out of the incredibly fertile Jupiter in Cancer. Look to masculinity for necessary parameters; look to femininity for opportunity to grow.
