Major Recent Transits:
Uranus Enters Gemini: The Liberator Ouranus entered the constellation of the Twins on July 7. Uranus in Taurus emphasized the collective relationship to materialism and stability of resources. We grew into sustainable practice, but also saw the usual urge by Conservative spheres to de-regulate sustainability practices. So with Uranus in Taurus being the liberation of material resources we can see how that could be interpreted as allowing the unfettered use of resources like oil, or liberating our dependency on them, or liberating the Earth of our abuses.
Uranus moving into Gemini graduates us from material focus to mental focus. We will now spend the next 7 years looking to liberate methods of movement and communication. We can expect this to be for better and for worse. Destruction and re-invention of existing methods of daily travel and communication can look similar to Uranus in Taurus. Instead of focusing directly on what kind of energy we are using, it’s the kind of machine or process we are using. We turn attention from the power source to the methods of movement. We could see power grid failures, innovation in communication, the continued liberation and re-invention of speech. We will awaken the collective consciousness to the nature of reality. Gemini is a sign of messaging, and this liberation will bring awareness to more spiritual forms. We could even see a literal uptick in twin births.
More importantly this starts the Uranus return of the United States and from 2025-2033. There are 3 exact returns within one Uranus Retrograde with this Uranus return. July 26, 2027; Nov 5 2027; May 11, 2028. These periods coincided with the Revolutionary War (1774-1782), Civil War (1858-1866), and WWII (1941-1949). Those years are the Uranus in Gemini years not the period of the respective event. Gemini is a liberation of movement and communication. Ideas will stir, the downtrodden will be delivered the air to fan the flames of their withheld ideas. Themes of Gemini do include impartiality, and there will be the recurring sense that it’s hard to know who’s side who is on.
Pluto - Uranus Trine: The last time this aspect actually went exact was within the years 1921 and 1922. We will see a series of perfected trines between these two between 2026 and 2028, so we should take note now. In 1921-22 we saw events like the introduction of the Tulsa Massacre, Benito Mussolini and Hitler’s rises to power, and the Harlem Renaissance. Since this coincides with the Uranus return of the United States we can expect it to be more distinct in its effect. The rest of this decade and beyond gears up to be one of the most revolutionary periods of this country’s history.
What is described here is a harmonious connection between Pluto and Uranus in air signs. Pluto in Aquarius wants to burn away anything that restricts or conceals authentic inventiveness while Uranus awakens the logical and communicative frameworks of the individual mind and collective structures. A true “power to the people” moment in history. Ideally I hope to see that everyone comes to terms with the fact that we want the same things and that all of us are constantly having attempts to blind us from the truth and have our real mental autonomy taken by fake information, substance abuse access, and plain distractions. There will be intense transformative events that change our lives forever, and we can only hope this ends up being for the better.
So as this aspect culminates, persist that ideal out there and deliver positivity into the collective manifestations.
Major Bi-Weekly Transits:
Venus Enters Cancer: On July 30st the Planet of Love enters the jurisdiction of the Moon. This is arousal and connection sought through emotional bonds. The Cardinal signs [Cancer, Libra, Aries, Capricorn] should expect some more distinct experiences around this concept. What desire begins building up in this area of life steeped in needful exchange? Here until August 25th, 2025.
Mercury Cazimi: On July 31st @ 7:41 PM EST, Mercury and the Sun will be tightly conjunct. Essentially on this day we will feel supercharged in our mental processing. We can better journal, channel, receive, clean, adjust, communicate, move, or practice. This will be a retrograde Mercury conjunction following the recent one from May 30, 2025. Then in Direct motion we get the third in the cycle on September 13th 2025. These are moments of conscious clarity that boost our mental and mundane patterns. In this case, consider what patterns and processes are helping you return to a state of joy and confidence. What's going on with romance and play?
Saturn/Neptune - Venus Square: The aspect peaks quickly after Venus enters Cancer. On Aug 1st @ this square creates tension between arousal and stability. The retrograde Neptune and Saturn have our spiritual and disciplinary developments contrasting some budding emotional connections. Consider how the refinement of your long-term goals is at odds with what is turning you on. You have to make a decision. Reflect on April 24th and May 2nd, when the most recent Saturn/Venus & Neptune/Venus conjunctions perfected. These dates were the seed-startings. Now we are at a point of critical decision making and problem solving.
Pluto - Venus Quincunx: On Aug 2 we see a peak of this irritating aspect. So from about July 31st - August 4th we will feel a bit more frustration due to a lack of communication between our desires with our ongoing soul evolution. We will see a lack of reconciliation between what we want to hold onto with what we need to move forward on a soul level. Consider what you truly desire and how your current attachments are keeping you from growth.
Mars Enters Libra: The Red Planet named after the Roman God of War will enter the jurisdiction of Venus the evening of Aug 6. Mars becomes “Debilitation” here and functions poorly. We will feel a sense of vigilance and demand in an area of life which strives to operate from a place of grace and consideration. So expect excess heat from a typically warm environment. Expect some demand in a place which generally wants time to think. You Libra house. Here until September 22nd. Consider how you can take some bold action for the sake of aesthetics. How can you bring a sense of beauty and flow to the use of equipment and approach to your goals? We are also approaching our utilitarian side with adornment and anointment. Like grease up our wheel axles with essential oils; it’s nice, and it might not be typical or even practical.
Saturn - Mars Opposition; The Kite: On Aug 8 @ 10:52 PM EST, we see the perfection of the Saturn - Mars opposition, which is the key aspect in this “Kite”. A Kite is what’s called an aspect pattern. It literally looks like a stereotypical Kite and I will post a picture below with the House significations.
Starting with the Saturn - Mars Opposition, we have a heavy and harsh set of energies going at odds. How are our short and long term goals feeling in direct competition? How do they also seem to be balancing out? Mars is Libra would like to approach self-assertion with more consideration and grace. This to say when we are making decisions and choosing to take up space there is going to be more hesitation leading to innovative moments of diplomacy or bottling and exploding. This occurs while Saturn in Aries, another poorly placed planet, is trying to get us to make long-term decisions with gusto and impulsivity. Another contrast which will demand innovation to avoid catastrophe. Consider what you impulsivity gravitates toward in your goal-setting and decision making. Consider how contrasting areas of your life are competing for resources. Contrast between time and energy. Between money and healthy food choices. Between sex and staying focused.
Then we remember that Neptune is conjunct Saturn, closely. There is a whole other under layer of temptation versus purification and illusion here. What mental fantasies of pleasure, human connection, and spiritual connection are influencing your long-term goals and sense of discipline? There is an idealization guiding the restructuring of your life going on. There are creative goals and desires here. They are also at odds with this Mars in Libra.
In the context of the Kite, Pluto & Uranus at specific points create 5 more aspects, for a total of 7 to complete the Kite. Again, the image is below. This aspect will create a critical need for communities to really band together. If we look at the rise of Authoritarianism by the current American administration we can see the way it unfortunately inspires communities to create plans. We are having to reconcile how we communicate to each other, what we dwell on and how we do a lot of talking. We must review tried and true techniques of anti-facism. To create real change and effective inter-personal support we must align universal love with structure and discipline. We must be willing to sacrifice. We must be willing to put aside smaller differences. We must ensure we aren’t simply talking about change. In our smaller and larger communities there will be a bigger conversation and calling for action that demands better action. We will call out performative activism.
Full Moon in Aquarius: This lunation culminates on Aug 9 @ 3:55 AM EST. A Full body-mind experience with authenticity and self-expression. Of professionalism with child-like wonder. Of performers and audiences. Expect instances in which a confident performer must operate with an emotional audience. Consider how that imagery resonates within your heart and mind. As well, where it must manifest externally.
The Kite is still very strong, and we could see this Full Moon have even more play with that energy. Leaders and populations. The emotional impulses of the people are at odds with the leadership decisions being made by those in charge.
We can expect some key moments which decide who’s needs are heard. Again, where does that imagery resonate internally? What parts of yourself are being heard? What parts of yourself have been ignored? Where are the unmet needs and how does that ultimately relate to your authentic expression? As well, how does a tendency for emotional analysis diminish your creative spark?
Venus - Jupiter Conjunction: These planets, which bring us the good things in life will peak their conjunction on Aug 12 before sunrise. In Cancer, we see loads of opportunity and abundance in nurturing spaces. In feminine and childcare spaces.
We will see this aspect influence the large social paradigm onset by the Kite. Consider the needy in society and how they are at the center of these events. The downtrodden and poor are a motivation for community-organizers who are inspired to support these people. Those same underprivileged folks are also exploited by folks like politicians in order to influence people. So we will see an influx of support to the needy both for real and exploitative reasons. Those who remain alive in Gaza and the brainwashed Israelis who claim to be a victim of a country going through genocide. Palestine being actively and deliberately starved having to serve as inspiration that feeds community and people oriented motivation to improve society. They feed our efforts, while we try to literally get them fed. While those living under illusions continue to believe they are the victim of anything other than capitalist-patriarchal values which strip them of any permission to rest and grieve.

Moon in Virgo - July 28: These weeks begin with the Moon approaching Mars, so we can expect inflammations. Literal or inter-personal. Virgo Moons require something to be done/edited to be at ease, so find a worthy sacrifice, and try not to let that be you.
Moon in Libra - July 29-31: The desire for connection is elevated as we channel harmonization.
Moon in Scorpio - July 31 - Aug 2: Emotion space becomes more intense as we can expect to release, uncover, or purge something. Airing out dirty laundry and selling unused items. Maybe acquiring something discarded. A “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” type of situation.
Moon in Sagittarius - Aug 3-5: These Moons are excitable as we seek exploration. We want to channel a sense of freedom so we are urged to reflect on a place we feel restricted, or at least let our needs inspire movement. A Moon-Mars Square persisting possible inflammation.
Moon in Capricorn - Aug 5-7: A colder Moon. These days can be good for work and objectivity in emotional spaces.
Moon in Aquarius - Aug 8-9: Coinciding with the Full Moon. We will see an analytical approach to big emotions. We will feel a revolutionary spirit.
Moon in Pisces - Aug 10: Often these are tender days. Pisces Moons can feel very vulnerable, but the Moon will still be bright, and we can expect to have good energy which will need to be protected.
These are pivotal weeks that center around this Kite. These aspects urge more productive conversations as we continue approaching a fascistic regime and come to realize that the greater population of the world remains unheard. A majority of the world understands Gaza is innocent and helpless, and we remain helpless to do anything significant despite the agreement. This kind of realization must be allowed to shape our behaviors and social alignments.
As well, on a personal level, there is the sense that we must accept sacrifices. We must be willing to accept that our flaws are simply the other side of our greater and genius.
This isn’t about taking action, but it is about reviewing our tactics and coming to terms with what we need to be willing to lose, in order to gain.
