The morning of July 3rd kicks off with a Full Moon in Capricorn. The moon is as far away as possible from its home sign of Cancer here. There is a pragmatic sense for cultivating longevity being prioritized here; the kind of thing we apply to re-staining the deck to keep the wood healthy, but for an emotional wellness. Now, consider the intentions that were set on July 18th when we had the previous New Moon in Gemini. Maybe check your Instagram story archive’s or calendar for a quick reminder. Gemini is objective and more likely to leave out emotions, the context of our familial space, when setting intentions. So the effect of this Full Moon will be that we have to consider the conflict between cold objectivity and warm considerability. Full Moons are the culmination and thus can be eventful. Are there any conflicts coming up that challenge your emotional bonds? Your interpersonal dependencies? The Moon in Capricorn is going to challenge the necessity of these things and do a little spring cleaning. Once you’ve been able to take this time to consider the necessity and functionality of your emotional investments and needful exchanges, on July 17th the cycle will come to a close with a New Moon in Cancer. So really consider the Spatial Spring Cleaning to take advantage of the objective and pragmatism in the air on the subject. Mercury in Cancer Sextiles Uranus in Taurus: This aspect can play off of the observation of the Full Moon we just described. It will build and fall in strength through these days. What happens is the better communication of the reconceptualization of our needs. We may be looking to change something in ourselves, and thus we have to break the expectations we’ve set with the people, spaces, and places we spent most of our time in. Cancer and Taurus being archetypally significant to sustenance and providing, make some time to be understanding; to be understood. Consider your own growth and try to communicate the changes you are trying to make so it doesn’t have to be “We are gonna re-traumatize each other in a different direction because I’m different now, Jim.” The Moon is changing signs at roughly 2:00PM on a given day. With Venus and Mars in Leo, this Aquarius moon will generate a desire to perform. Your body will make this request of you so pay attention. The Moon in Pisces - July 6-8: Creating an atmosphere where comfortability and joy can be better sought by tuning into your connection to everything around you. With Neptune and Saturn present, it’ll be a good idea to keep the energetic filter up. Now, that sounds contradictory. So I mean, take some time to compartmentalize what are your feelings and thoughts, versus what is chatter from the collective conscious. Do not invest in everything you see. For instance, some people have convinced themselves that they need to be informed of every societal tragedy out there because to be entirely informed is more ethical. No. The cortisol, stress, and despair is counter-intuitive for that purpose. Develop a balance between having an awareness to -reality/the state of things/ethics/ marketed manipulation- with protecting your energy, motivation, and ability to put good things out into the world.. Stay informed, but practice safe stress. The Moon in Aries - July 8-9: Creating an atmosphere where comfortability and joy can be better sought through independence and activity. What makes you feel alive? Consider the impulses; they occur in the conscious mind, but are formed in the unconscious. They are like crabs living on the shoreline between sea and land.
