First few Days of Libra Season: We’ve entered the sign of Harmony, of social custom, of divine law, of diplomacy, of passive strategy. Libra marks the Autumnal Equinox; Saturday, September 23rd this year. With the cooler weather and shorter days coming the Sun/Solar Principle also prepares for decay and slowing. The Harvest Season has been going. Libra energy is colored by its association with culmination and fruition. Libra energy appreciates beauty and exchange, and thus we have a season based in the spirit of enjoying fruits of labor. Eventually we will have ended the exciting, laborious, and often stressful process of creating or nurturing. The balance of nature is that of life with death. Our ability to revel in the culmination of our labors implies their end, and that is worth celebrating. Libra is Cardinal, thus it begins a season. It is also an air sign; that of sociability, bureaucracy, social order, intellect, mental connection. We are initiating these interpersonal items in all ways under Libra energy. When the Sun is in Libra, the Solar principle of masculinity and creative purpose is channeled through a need to be balanced with the environment and those in it. This does in some way diminish the freedom of expression, but embraces (what is often) the purpose of creating. Exchange. You may think of creation which is kept personal to oneself, but you could argue it's for the relationship to the inner spirit and there is some level of aesthetic discernment which is really what we are getting down to here. Venus Square Uranus: We come to another Venus Square Uranus. The final of three (3) which we’ve experienced over the Summer with Venus in Leo. First, July 2nd, 2023. Second (Venus retrograde) August 9th, 2023. Third, September 29, 2023. Under this weather we see some restless indulgences through the lens of self-aggrandizement, substance abuse, or straight-up dogmatism. We could experience sudden breakthroughs in creative projects or relationship dynamics. There could be leadership restructured among those who operate on equal power dynamics. This could likely persist as a stress test for the ability to apply your speciality skills into creative matters or making money. With the Sun having moved into Libra, the route of diplomacy or passive plays is heightened. I do recommend you pay extra attention to this potential for subtle manipulation. Lastly, the Uranus/Venus cycle is something we can look at just like we think about the Moon Phases with the Sun/Moon cycle. In this case, we had a “New Moon” of Uranus and Venus on March 30, 2023. New Moon’s initiate and conceive of fresh ideas. This Square becomes the First Quarter phase when those ideas must reconcile with posing problems. So think about March 30th. In this case, sudden or liberating experiences around money, relationships, education, skillset, and Taurus/Libra placements & their houses. The three (3) Square dates mentioned earlier could offer insight to the developing story around what began on March 30, 2023. Looking at these cycles is what Astrology is really all about. The Moon in Aquarius - Sep 25-26: Interpersonal and money matters are felt deeper than usual. The Moon in Pisces - Sep 27-28: Listen to your body and what it needs. Practice purity. The Moon in Aries - Sep 29-30: High potential for volatility. This isn’t an eclipse, but looks like one. The Moon in Taurus - Oct 1: Follows up on matters from the Moon in Aquarius, and potentially the Venus/Uranus Square. Could be nice if that’s what you have coming.
