Venus stations Retrograde the night of July 22nd. The events and feelings from this transit will be supported by Mercury. Thus we will be able to be objective about the situation. A domestic, needful relationship will be evaluated. This Evaluation will concern freedom of expression, and making space for that function. Fixed signs will be more greatly affected; Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius. Mars will build and peak its opposition with Saturn. With this transit, we will breakthrough or succumb to the struggles and confinements that may inhabit our lives. This will be emotional pressure or responsibilities for diet, routine, emotional vitality, subordinate relationships, and social norms. It brings up possibly sore subjects, victim complexes, or nervous compulsions. You should be sure to go into this week ready to be authentic. The Nodal Shift: The astronomical position of the Lunar and Solar Eclipse points shifts on Monday July 17th. This leaves the fixed Signs of Taurus and Scorpio; entering Aries and Libra. The Nodes have a way of bringing out deeper held desires into view; shifting toward this new information in sacrifice to an opposite investment. Those with these specific signs will be particularly susceptible, and I would recommend a consultation and research into this particular shift for anyone. The North Node will enter Aries, where we still see Chiron. I predict a tumultuous shift for the Healing arts (all kinds). Subjects of personal autonomy, mortality, control, punishment, new conception (of ideas and cells), weapons, heat. There is a reaping of what we sowed in the health of our relationships. Chiron will Retrograde July 23rd: The process of healing, the perpetuation of the would, the discovery of our gifts, our journey as a healer; the story continues. In this case, old feelings are brought up or there is reconsideration and intro/retrospection. We may have check back in with our traumas and wounds. Did we really work through everything? We may reconsider our path as a healer, or take a break to do some healing. There are many considerations, but here are our Chiron Retrograde themes. In the sign of Aries, this scenario of wounding and healing occurs through conflict, power struggles, independence, new conception (ideas/babies/etc), sexual potency, and self-preservation. There needs to be an acknowledgment of the anger our trauma causes followed by the ability to rise above this. To better implement the Aries archetype, we must reorient the belief of self. Independence and identity are important. However, the way we treat others and resentment deeply impact the quality of our identity. The Moon may change signs around midday; some dates are indicated in two signs. The Moon in Cancer - July 17-: This will be a new moon in opposition to Pluto. Experience a new development or opportunity in a domestic or workplace situation. Emotional needs could be improved due to the retrograde of Pluto diminishing its power. The Moon in Leo - July 18-20: Find something playful to do. Or lean into some vulnerable fun during this time. Let yourself perform more than usual. The Moon in Virgo - July 20-22: This will be a Moon-Mars transit, thus injury and inflammation come up for us. Emotional and definitely physiological. The Moon in Libra - July 23: Note what feelings come up here. Now that the South node is in Libra, this will be the first time the Moon has entered the Sing of Scales since the Nodal Shift. Maybe there is a wound that manifests in our aesthetic/relationship choices. A rather subtle feeling may give hints. Maybe someone says just the wrong thing.
