October 9th through 15th

Venus enters Virgo: Venus is described as having a difficult time in Virgo. The function of Venus being harmony and beautification is given a tool set which aims to edit, remove, and critique. Where Venus may aim to design a space to be beautiful, the Virgoan method may focus on everything that doesn’t work when the goal is to make the space work. It doesn’t make the connection without extra self-awareness and communication. Interpersonal situations and the personal gaze on the environment may become more discerning and critical. There may be a perfectionism about standards. It could, however, bring some good fortune to Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces). 

Solar Eclipse/New Moon in Libra: There will begin a cycle of release and unlocking deep desire associated with Eclipses in the Libra/Aries houses of our charts; it will be important to be aware the relevant houses there. For example, Sagittarius Rising will have Libra in the 11th house, Aries on the 5th. The harmony we seek in the Libra house in our charts is disrupted to make room for the free will and personal space we demand in the Aries house. You will be compelled to unlock your true desires in that Aries house. The process of these Eclipses began about 2 weeks ago, but this is where things are compelled to move. The Oct 28, 2023 Lunar Eclipse follows up on this Eclipse. 

Mars in Scorpio: Mars is described as having an accordant time in Scorpio. Scorpio is one of the “homes” of Mars; the word we use is domicile. Scorpio is the feminine expression of Mars, where Aries is the masculine expression. In Scorpio, goals, achievement, and short-term power dynamics are sought through more passive needs. Scorpio is covert as its archetype describes an area in our life in which we have felt some combination of exposed, raw, vulnerable, infatuated, in love, in lust, betrayed, and hurt. Mars coming into this area will kick up dust as well as allow for passive power plays to persist. 

Pluto goes Direct: Continuing the story of more long term power dynamics in our lives. It is said Pluto is the higher resonance of Mars. Pluto rules the generational power struggle. Power to who controls what is considered taboo, who ultimately has control, what ultimately grants control, and what we ultimately are compelled to desire. As Pluto was retrograde from May 3rd-Oct 10th we had a review of these dynamics which every year shift just a little bit. Pluto is in Capricorn, so your Capricorn House and Cardinal placements (Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, Libra) are compelled to see these shifts. 

The Moon in Leo - Oct 9: Supportive of creative and playful space. Like being with all your cousins where love should be unconditional. Should be. 

The Moon in Virgo - Oct 10-12: With Venus moving into Virgo, it’ll trigger the themes that Venus in Virgo may bring up for you, and could be worth paying attention to. 

The Moon in Libra - Oct 13-14: Accentuates to emotional satisfaction of participating in the social atmosphere and finding success, indicating your sense of sense harmonizing with the environment.

The Moon in Scorpio - Oct 15: With Mars moving into Scorpio this moon could bring up how this transit will manifest for you.

Consider narrative and the control of narrative. There is the side of War which is everything other than actual active battle and strategy. We see peacekeeping options, we see Media and narrative control. For example, there is a huge split in opinion between who is right/wrong/; the victim/perpetrator between Israel and Palestine. There is an incredible amount of history and nuance to that situation that may ultimately come down to what narrative pre-dominates and why someone is compelled to be invested in that narrative. We all have our own history and nuance that is also full of lost information which becomes increasingly difficult to make sense of. These transits see the battle and diplomacy persist. Based on your priorities it could be better to be real and raw or play chess. Probably could do a mix.
