Venus enters Capricorn: The Goddess finds herself in a sign that might be more chaste, but is at least more serious. Creative and sexual energy is more grounded and pragmatically intended. There may be less tenderness and care brought into interactions, but this can be productive and not necessarily embodied as coldness or harshness. We may find ourselves using dryer humor. This can be a time where desire is met with a put up or shut up attitude. Venus is usually in a sign for two to three weeks. Mercury conjunct Mars: This week Mercury will pass over Mars for a time-period with sharper tongues and hasty movement. Beware of stubbed toes and foot-in-mouth syndrome. This also means a reset between the cycle of these two energies. The relationship between Mars and Mercury is the relationship between wanting and thinking; goals and self-preservation with processing and logistics. Expect to set some short-term plans for your short-term goals. Venus Trine Jupiter: Generally lucky and pleasant; this will add a niceness to this weeks mood. With Saturn involved in Sextiles to both these planets there is a nature of practical and long-term planning involved. Some more major investments set-in, or over-indulgence may be blocked/see consequence. Pluto shifts into Aquarius: Now, Pluto will be shifting back into Capricorn, then back into Aquarius two times this year. Overall, take time to tune into where themes of unconscious desire and power are shifting into your life. Not what houses Pluto will be transitioning between, and of course feel rfee to ask me what those might be. Aquarius Season Begin; Sun enters Aquarius: The Masculine source moves into its Detriment, meaning a sign in which it does not function well. The Solar principle of the Sun is in a sign of the Dead of Winter. Aquarius, which is all about Social Collectivism is not ideal for the planet representing Leaders and Kings, or those who lead the Collectives. So this is a time of equalizing being highlighted. The Dead of Winter does not offer an abundance of resources so we might not want lead with the ego too strong. We might not be able to. Sun Square Jupiter: As the Sun moves though early Aquarius it Squares Jupiter which is in Taurus. The tension between Aquarius and Taurus is like when someone of wealth and status travels somewhere that no ones cares for their prominence, and they get triggered; they act spoiled. The best way for this energy to exhibit is where someone who is familiar to fortune (the Taurus) finds themselves among the outcasts (Aquarius) and demands better for them. Think of how you can bring out your inner weirdo without seeming entitled or defensive. Uranus stations Direct: The planet of transcendence and liberation is back on the horse. January 27th Uranus goes Direct. Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) may see some prominent themes as individuals, and the Collective will definitely see a shift. In Taurus, this could mean tectonic plate shifts and other natural world shifts; themes with food, sustenance, resources. Uranus events are unexpected and a good way to see how they’ll manifest for you is by looking at what was going on during the start of the Retrograde (Aug 28, 2023). You would’ve set your intention Jan 11, 2023 with the Capricorn New Moon, so consider what might be culminating from that date. Leo Moons support pride and creative expression from the emotional center. The Moon in Virgo Jan 28: Critical nature comes forward from the emotional center. Service and humility in order to soothe excessive pride.
