From Last Week:
Mercury Opposition Neptune: This aspect begins to build during the end of this week. Oppositions, dealing with relating, in this case can see conversations which seem mystical, blurry, confusion, or come with themes of victimization. Our routines may be dissolved. We may have an unforeseen sickness disrupt our daily life, or compromised use of our manual dexterity. Be wary of confusion, illusion, or subtle permeating/breakdown of your Mercurial systems (boundaries, thinking, communication) from another person or entity. This event will fade fast this week, and become harder to reflect on given the aspect is out of sign, Mercury in Libra Neptune in Pisces.
Sun Trine Pluto: This aspect will peak right at the end of this week. This cycle can deal with the hidden and taboo expressions we engage with. And more graceful events around hidden structures like plumbing or foundations. With this specific phase we may learn something. How leaders conduct themselves behind closed doors. We may see our deeper desires surface, which may be material and come from a place of perfectionism. This event will fade this week, and become harder to reflect on given the aspect is out of sign, Sun in Libra, Pluto in Capricorn.
Sun Enters Libra: The Autumnal Equinox. The Sun entering Libra beckons days becoming shorter, temperatures remaining cooler, and new decor. The Holiday season is starting. Holidays in the colder seasons make sense as we can feed off these reasons to huddle for warmth and belonging when Vitamin D becomes scarce. Thus this sign makes the creative will more considerate and strategic, which is not ideal for the Sun; the core masculine source. It is hard for Libras to take up space and they fear being a burden. So we come into a season which has manifested as a time for lots of planning. Homesteads and harvesters canning, storing, trading, and selling. Holiday plans begin putting pressure on time and money. This is often referred to as “cuffing” season and we named it that without even considering it was during the sign of partnership. Cuffing being slang for locking down a relationship. We invoke a time in which exchange of time, money, goods, services, and love become pronounced and thus our Solar disposition must become more aware of tact and compromise.
This Week:
Venus Enters Scorpio: Right at the beginning of this week Venus enters Scorpio. This planet of Love and Diplomacy enters a Mars ruled sign. A planet of War and Diplomacy. Venus cares more for Justice than Mars and until October 17th, Venus will be at the will of Mars. Mars, weak in Cancer, will not offer much willpower. Thus as I had said Venus was going to give us a burst of energy once it got past the South Node in Libra, it will now go back into a sign it does not function well in. Now we figure Scorpio is a sexual and powerful sign. Venus can still become aroused, but not as confident in its own intentions for justice and fairness. Scorpio consciousness is susceptible to resentment and self-preservation. So what will happen is our true nature and pureness of heart will be exposed by way of how much energy and kindness we can gather. We may likely face some darker side of ourselves.
Saturn Trine Mars: This aspect perfects right at the end of Sunday (Sep 29). though it will already have built strength at the beginning of the week. These planets use up our resources and thus are called the Malefics. Their contact with each other supports a connection between long and short term action or preservation. In water signs we may take steps to preserve our emotional sphere or take action on the basis of intuition. Ultimately the long term and pragmatic decisions will dominate the actions we take during this time. Saturn in Pisces will mitigate the more chaotic will of Mars in Cancer. We may see this event occur during the Moon in Cancer days,
Mercury enters Libra; Mercury Conjunct Sun, Mercury Combust: Mercury will move into Libra the morning of Sep 26, EST. Where we may choose our words more considerately. A finesse and artistry to communication comes forward until October 13th when Mercury enters Scorpio. Mercury will be “under the beams” of the Sun the moment it gets into Libra. Simply put our conscious willpower as represented by the Sun will be in greater standing to obstruct the logic of Mercury.
South Node in Early Libra: A note. Mercury and the Sun will make their way by the South Node and this can decrease the sense of vitality. This Libra season may likely start off with less confidence. Just be aware of that. You will be more inclined to make emotionally and intuitively led decisions, Lunar lead. So expect to be more touchy and go about things.
Mars Trine Venus: This aspect only begins this week, building in strength, peaking on October 7th. These two will have a flowing energy between them. Mars may inspire Venus’ arousal, meaning momentum will be important in order to gather energy. Gathering and sublimating our energy will come from a deeper place. This inspiration will, more than usual, come from a subtle and intuitive place. Again, Venus in Scorpio and Mars in Cancer are poor placements for them both, but this aspect helps mitigate that. As well, Mars rules Scorpio, elevating their ability to communicate. I will say, of the things you should remember this week, do not succumb to your own shame. View yourself with more respect and dignity, less judgment. Take a chance if you feel inspired.
Grand Water Trine pushes: Saturn in Pisces, Mars in Cancer, Venus in Scorpio. There will be a flowing energy in the water signs stirring up and bringing forward a truth in what really turns us on and moves our energy. Let your subconscious speak to you and find some ways to give it a voice. Do some divination, meditate, reflect. Ultimately Saturn is going to bring an obstruction less we feel whatever comes up is worthwhile. The Mars in Cancer days don’t necessarily trigger this Trine because Venus will be too early in Scorpio. When the Moon enters Scorpio after this week we could see this truth come out.

Moon in Gemini - Sep 23-24: This Moon puts us in touch with subtle and emotional messaging. Channeling, but from the Lunar body. We may seek more stimulation or find ourselves with more nervous energy to use up.
Moon in Cancer - Sep 24-26: The Moon’s home and the best space for shedding and resetting. These days may not evoke much desire to go out into the world and with Mars present we may sit stewing. Less of molting and more of burning something off.
Moon in Leo - Sep 26-28: This Lunar space prefers a context in which it can feel confident. We become more focused on the parts of ourselves which warrant more confidence.
Moon in Virgo - Sep 29: Virgo Moons bring forward the tougher side of mothering in which love is offered through setting up boundaries or applying consequences.
Plant yourself in the darkness and the silence. What would come up from the darkness within you if there was nothing for the ego to distract you with? What desires, creative inspiration, trauma, memories? This week begins an environment which deals with how we meet the world and all the compromises we make. Try to be honest with yourself about who you really are. If you need to, do this without yet giving yourself pressure to incorporate these realizations. Start with really accepting your entire being.
